Technical Engineering Services Ltd uses the Robins “Top of the Range” SmartPAT 5500 Portable Appliance Tester.
The Robin Smart PAT 5500 is a Dual Voltage Portable Appliance Tester (PAT) with manual, user programmable or pre-programmed test codes.
The Robin SmartPAT 5500 enables our enginners to test both 110V & 240V appliances, along with IEC leads. 110V operation is available when powered from 110V mains supply, using the optional adaptor AD110V.
Portable Appliance Test data can be printed to the optional serial thermal printer using the integral RS232 communications port OR downloaded to PC using Robins PowerPAT Plus management software package.
Other features include the use of Barcode reading Smart wands & Wide head barcode readers. The SmartPAT 5500 also has an integral Floppy disk drive therefore removing the need to take the PAT tester to the PC to down load appliance test data.
The Robin SmartPAT 5000 enables the user to test portable appliances found in the modern office using a 100 mA earth bond test function.
